Popcorn Ceiling Removal in Newmarket

Newmarket's historic downtown core is full of Victorian, Queen Anne, and Edwardian-era heritage homes, some over a century old, many restored since the revitalization efforts that began in the late 1980s. Just outside the core, a large share of the town's housing was built in the 1950s as Newmarket grew along the old Northern Railway corridor, exactly the era when popcorn ceiling texture became standard. Newer communities like Stonehaven, developed in the early 1990s with larger Georgian and Colonial-revival homes, sit at the edge of that window and may or may not carry the same texture depending on when the ceiling was last finished.
